Airforce X Group & Y Group Complete Notification Details
Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for recruitment of Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Applications are invited from unmarried male and female candidates of India to serve in the Indian Air Force for four years as Agniveervayu. This recruitment is for X Group (Science) and Y Group (Non-Science) trades.

This intake is conducted through STAR Online Examination followed by Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test and Medical Examination.

🎯 Age Limit
Candidates must be born between:
01 January 2006 to 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive)
Maximum age at enrolment must not exceed 21 years
💍 Marital Status Rules
Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
Candidates must not marry during the four-year engagement period.
Female candidates must not become pregnant during this period.
Violation of this condition will lead to discharge from service
📚 Educational Qualification
🔹 X Group (Science)
Candidate must have:
Option 1:
10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English
Minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English
OR
Option 2:
3-year Engineering Diploma in
Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation
Minimum 50% overall and 50% in English
OR
Option 3:
2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics
Minimum 50% overall and 50% in English
🔹 Y Group (Non-Science)
10+2 in any stream
Minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English
OR
2-year Vocational Course
Minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English
Science candidates can apply for both X & Y Group together
